Greatest American Dog

Stuart on Activities - Thu, August 28 2008

Did anybody watch last night? Mom just loves that show. She claps and cheers for the dogs on the television. Last night, they had to show how brave they were and had to just sit there while a big ole elephant charged at em. Andrew the Maltese did it and so did Presley the Boxer. Mom says Presley is the cutest. Anybody on IP think they could just sit there with an elephant charging at em?

I would just lay there....because it would scare me to death!!!! I can't even go to Pet Supplies Plus. I'm with Charlie on this one.

I did not enjoy that show last night! I thought the challenge where they had to wear the zipline and jump off to their owner was too traumatic of the dogs. I can't believe they did, and now Galaxy has a sore muscle, and they voted Bill and Star off. I was very disappointed in their judgment of tasks last night.

We only caught the end but Mama was very sad because Bill and Star were our favorites. And poor Galaxy, even Grandma asked what was wrong.

I'm pretty sure I could stand down on an elephant. Horses, cows, and other things bigger than me (which is most things) don't freak me out. I'd have pulled out the Pelican move from Karate Kid~~

That bothered me too, Nancy. I understand courage, but to ask a dog to jump down a zip line...it really upset me.

Now let me count all the dogs in my neighborhood that have used a zipline...none...zero.
I think that was way too much for any dog especially for Andrew. I'm sure Army dogs are trained to do that but not everyday pets.

Let me at that elephant!!! I'll give him the business like I did that horse at IVEC. I had that horse "shaking in his shoes". Oh, wait. . .mama just said that's not the way it really went down.

We've missed the past couple of weeks but are glad to hear that Bella Starlet got the boot since her mom was so creepy! And um, I KNOW I would run from an elephant, unless he was willing to share his peanuts : )

depends... does he have my ball?

ps: if you miss the show (like Mom does), you can watch the full episode on the internet .. they have all of them plus the previous weeks.

I was there...that is exactly how it went down. Your Mama is confused...mine gets that way too.
