Calling all Foster dog people

For anyone who has a foster dog ready for adoption: Please feel free to bring your dog to the Boone County Fairgrounds on Sept. 6 for my Paw Prints at the Farm World Expo event. When I first put this event together I had about six rescues who had agreed to bring dogs. Now I have just a Great Dane rescue coming.

You are welcome to bring a dog or two with some adoption information. We are expecting up to 5,000 people that day.

If you want more info, please send me an email at batmanmom@gmail.com. Otherwise, it is looking very promising for Lexie as she may be the only dog there available for adoption!

Hum, I can't remember who the GD people were. I met them at a dog event and all I know is our marketing manager told me they signed up. I'll try and find out.

I'm posting the link to that Great Dane/Dobie mix post. It sounds like this dog really needs a new home, so if your friend doesn't mind a mixed breed maybe they would consider this girl!

I just send this on to the Love of Labs adoption team. We'll scare up as many of our volunteers and big Black Pearls (we have so many right now, we just can't resist 'em!) as we can and be there.

We'll probably have Chase, Pepper, Shadow, and Bogey out there. Cubbie would like to meet his adoring public too but he's recovering from heartworm treatment.

I saw that post too - gypsy i think the name was. if we had more room i would've snapped her up in a second. she's adorable.
