See your IP friends Sept . 6

Connie on Activities - Tue, August 26 2008

Free is good! I'll try to go if Mom doesn't want me to go to Penrod Art Festival with her.

I saw Penrod was the same day. Sigh. So many things happen on the same day in the spring and fall.

OK, slight change of plans. The City won't approve Adam coming because the event is outside of Marion County. If anyone wants to come and teach dog safety let me know!

What about former HSI trainer Josh Dinkel? I don't have his non-humane society email, but that may be something he's do.

Yes, but Penrod is dreadfully expensive and I don't think you can take your dogs there. Looking forward to seeing lots of IP peeps at the Farm Expo!

I want to *bump* this and see how many of us are going and when. We plan on it! Probably with all three dogs! We'll be there by noon, I assume.

I'm going early. I hope to be there by 9:00. I have to drop some paperwork and a crate off to Wags and then meet Shawna with FIDO to drop off the flower orders in the afternoon. Busy, busy!! :)

Hey, I'm trying to map this-- no luck so far- anybody got directions to this place? I'm guessing that there will be signs for the fairgrounds along the way but I like to have an idea of where exactly I'm headed....

Can't wait to see you guys!

I just saw Connie's other post about this-- I'll just shoot up 65 & keep my eyes peeled for the fairgrounds...

The fairgrounds are located off exit 138 on Interstate 65

Want to hear something kinda funny? I have no idea how to DRIVE to the fairgrounds, but can pedal my bicycle up there (via backroads) with little to no thought. The fairgrounds provide an excellent place for a potty break (restrooms are usually open) and a chance to get some more water... so I ride up there often, but have never driven and I've not got a clue to the road names!

Ah, you are probably one of the bicyclists we see on our way to dog training. Every Saturday the roads around Lebanon are full of bicyclists coming and going!

It's one of the few areas that I can ride to from home that hasn't been taken over by urban sprawl. Though they seem to be working hard to make the area (the route I take) overpopulated in combination w/ insufficient roads. :(

What about Preston who has been posting his training tips on here recently?
