What's College?

My man Starter's big bro went there and I hear he comes home once in a while and hangs with the fam. I bet it's like going to a kennel for humans of that age group. Ya know, camp and kennel stuff. I bet she'll be home in no time. In the meanwhile, keep the pack in order, k?

Yeah....what Maggie said....camp-like....but she's gettin' really really smart...smarter than she was before even. Be patient, Gunner, she'll be home soon.

Mom told me that college is a place where they find bad habits. You know when they come home for a break, they leave their clothes on the floor, never clean up after themselves in the kitchen. That was the way my skin brother was. I'm always checking the floor for food but he never did that. Well...at least he left me the good stuff to clean up. Oh...another thing. That big white box was really used. Mom would put his dirty clothes in it and like magic, they came out clean!

Yep, just like Maggs said, my big bro is in college. He's been gone for about a month since he had to help at Hoosier pre-season football camp. He came home Saturday so Mom and Dad could move him into something called a dorm room. I figure that's like my crate and he has to stay in there when there's no one around to supervise him. It makes me mad when he comes home because he turns right around and leaves again. He probably does that so he doesn't have to see me pout. If you get lonely, let me know we can compare notes.

My sis goes to something called "middle school" now and this big yellow bus thing takes her there. Good thing is, she comes home every afternoon!!

Your mama loves you Gunner and she'll be back. Think of all the lovin's you're gonna get.

I knew she would come back home sometime! Miles tried to tell me she was gone forever, but he was just being a brat. I feel better now, at least I'll see her again sometime soon (I heard whisperings about this weekend...)

Mom says college is a place that sucks up money even faster than fostering an animal. But, she says it is a Pawsome place and she would have never traded all her days there for anything.

So, she says your Mom will have great fun there, and learn how to make lots of money when she gets out. That way she can spend more on you.
