I was jsut going to post about this!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that place! We got tons of free goodies and I talked to the nicest, most informative lady that worked there...
We had Oscar on Canidae..his ears have cleared up, but he doesn't seem excited about his food, or really like he likes it that much at all. I talked to a lot of different food representatives today. I got LOTS AND LOTS of samples of dog food. Royal Canin is giving free 6 lb. bags away! :-)
I can honestly say that i will never go to another pet store again after dealing with that staff today!

FREE stuff is always a good thing... Too bad I didn't head out there this weekend.
Did anyone notice if any of the free stuff was cat-related? Most of the time pet events are so dog-centric that I don't bother trying to go.

They kept asking if I had cats or dogs. I'd say both and end up with dog stuff. It wasn't trial size goodies either. Bags of holistic treats and an 8 count box of those cina star things for teeth. I didn't even talk to everybody.

Wow. We wish we would have gone, too. We did get some clearance cat stuff at the Petco on adoption day. They had a bin of toys and balls and stuff, everything was 10 cents each! I got a few things for the new foster kitties!

Hey Em - looks like we both got picky eaters! I tried Canidae with Nigel too. Then switched to Royal Canin.. He liked it but it was kind of pricey so we ended up trying California Naturals - it's the same price as royal canin, but you get 36lbs instead of 30 - just an FYI in case Royal Canin doesn't work out for you!
