The Boomer Update

Well, Boomer is still taking meds...though with some resistance. I adopted Amanda's suggestion and it works really well. I hate to see Boomer growl and bring his ears down with viewing the dropper, but he has no choice. As for the blood work, his thyroid levels are in the normal range, though on the high end. We just need to keep an eye on it and how it may change his heart murmer. Boomer is taking his new diet well enough. My only concern is that Boomer is having leaky stool. No major accidents, but it is definately harder to scoop from the box. I simply figured between the oral meds and the diet it was having an impact on his fecal matter. He goes back to the vet next week on Friday, so we'll have to wait until later to see how his UTI is coming along. Until then, Boomer will fight tooth and nail (litterally...closed mouth and clawing the counter) to not have the dripper. All for now.
