Lexie finished her dog obedience classes tonight. I was so happy. She changed remarkably over the six weeks. The first day she snapped at Warren. Nothing serious, but she let him know he made her nervous. Tonight, when we were working on recalls and I called Lexie across the room to me, she ran to Warren and did a perfect sit right in front of him! I told Lexie she hurt my feelings! :)
Warren is now able to pet her, look in her ears, etc. The other people in the class can also handle her now.
So, I sent in the information to have her Petfinder profile updated. Hopefully it should be done by tomorrow morning.
She is now officially available for adoption. I wanted to make sure she did well in obedience class and that I could overcome some of her fearfulness, but she is doing so much better now. She even did well meeting another dog in class.
I sure would like to find her an agility home. This girl loves to run. She is also so agile. I've had her on agility equipment and she loves it.
So, if anyone hears of anyone looking for a good agility prospect or a good obedience prospect let me know!
