My week at the 'kennel.'

I know basically all of my posts recently have made mention of my stay in Greenwood watching my aunt and uncle's 4 dogs, plus my 2. I don't know about you all, but in my opinion, I am basically running a kennel here! We have quite the routine: Potty and feed in the am (with 1 medication administration,) nap in their 'houses' during the day while I am at work. (Their dogs are crated both during the time they work and at night. I am still letting Andy and Nick sleep with me at night, plus one of their dogs, Jimmmy)...ANYWAY, then playtime, potty and feeding in the evening. Having all of these dogs is just great and I sincerely think that if I had a big house like theirs, with a big yard, I would want a TON more. Call me crazy, but this week has been great and I am slightly sad to go home without the other 4 : (

Sounds like our house. I feel like I'm fixing food for whole herd of hounds twice a day. It is fun though! Glad everybody made it through ok and you enjoyed yourself.

Glad you've enjoyed running the kennel (teehee) for your aunt and uncle! If you're ever interested, I'll loan you Deuce, Francie and Penny for a few days.

Welcome to my world! This is what I do everyday and I wouldn't trade it for the world. We do leave our dogs out at night and Gordon is left out while we are at work. My husband leaves for work about an hour before I get up, so every morning I wake up all twisted-up because I have at least 4 of the 6 dogs in bed with me!

You're all making me feel pretty good about bringing a 4th dog into the house. :) My family will crucify me, so I need all the support I can get!!!!

Example: MOM, YOU DON'T NEED ANOTHER DOG!! WHY DON'T YOU JUST SAVE YOUR MONEY SO YOU CAN TAKE A TRIP OR BUY A NEW CAR???? WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH YOU?? THAT'S IT!!! WE'VE HAD IT. YOU HAVE TO MOVE. WE AREN'T GOING TO PUT UP WITH THIS ONE MORE MONTH. IF YOU WANT TO STAY IN YOUR HOUSE AND KEEP MAKING THE MORTGAGE PAYMENTS AND FIXING THE PLACE UP FOR US, YOU WILL HAVE TO GET RID OF SOME OF THOSE DOGS!!! hahahahahahaha

Is it your house or their house? If it's yours, this may be a good way to get them to move out! :)
If it's not, maybe you'd better "foster" him until they fall in love and don't want him to go. ;)
