Mom taught us to stay on the carpet borderline to the tile of the kitchen floor when she is cooking. Today, she's cooking, Dad asks if I'm supposed to be in there. Mom looks down, there I am sitting on the throw rug in front of the sink, and Jasmine's at the carpet line in dining room. I didn't get in trouble cause Mom explained to Dad that I thought I was doing what I was suppose to be doing. She said we had the border thing mixed up and we thought we weren't allowed on the tile floor. Should've seen me sitting on that little rug looking innocent and proud. I really thought I was following the rules. Glad Mom is smart enough to read our minds. [sometimes]
and glad that Mom's have our backs! We're not allowed in the kitchen when anyone's cooking or the dining room when they are eating either -- something about little paws underfoot. That tile line works in our house at the front door too.
