Pedi Paws

Trixie on Grooming - Sun, August 17 2008

Has anyone tried the nail filer they are showing an ad for on TV and selling by phone & on the internet? Even though my claws on trimmed by the vet my claws are still very sharp and can draw blood if I accidentally scratch someone.

we have one and it is almost like the dremel except it has a cover on it.
but is about the same if you get the big one,
Mom's friend has the little one but the batteries go quick on it. mom uses it on all us, pups, kitty & parrot.
Winston runs away and hides from it when Mom gets it out, so she gives him a lot more treats than us. We get ours done weekly.
Mom also liked her rechargeable dremel just as well and she wish they made the cover for it instead.

They do make a Dremel attachment now! I'm considering getting one. I read that i's actually better because a Dremel has a more powerful motor than the Pedi Paws/ Peticure. http://www.peticure-grooming.com/Peticure-Safe-Guard_p_1-14.html

On tv, the pets sit very calmly while their mamas do their nails, and act like it doesn't hurt at all and does not scare them. Is that for real? I have been known to pitch a hissy fit at the sight of the clippers, so inquiring dogs want to know.

Grandpa bought me the one seen on TV. So far moms just let it sit out for me to sniff. She's not planning on giving it a try. She says I won't sit pretty like the dogs on TV. But grandpa says one day he will. Not looking forward to that day.

Oh boy mom is ordering the attachment for that dremel,
Oh what fun... we don't like either one of those things and we split to see who goes caught first.
Sadie sits nicely, Sophi lays down and holds her paws up and never looks at it as she drools like a river, Sammi is a biter and it takes 2 to do her and thank god she has little teeth left or mom would need stitches from the little mighty dog, lol.
Tucker he doesn't care less he just wants those kitty vet treats, and Kiri he has no choice he's wrapped in a towel with his feet out.
We hate each of these tools,
mom says we must endure this for some reason, I myself am always the last one to be done, mom has to work very hard and keep many treats available or no way I refuse unless someone is feeding me treats while she does that. I'm the same way with the clippers to.
