My friend(Pitbull mama)just called with a dilemma. While her 3 pits were outside today, 3 more showed up. One male wearing a collar and dragging a chain and two females, one that she thinks is the pup to the other. Of course the male has no ID on his collar. She's tried calling the MAC line with no response so she called the dispatch # they gave at the last IACC meeting. That guy gave her another # but nobody answers there either. She has to leave for work and doesn't know what to do. She could leave them in her yard IF ACC was coming to pick them up. Her hubby will be home for a while yet but her own dogs haven't been out for awhile now and she's afraid he'll forget and let their dogs out. She thought about loading them up in her car and taking them to work(she works at a vet)and having them picked up there. She says they are very friendly and look healthy but appear to be outside dogs. Most likely someone doesn't even know they're gone yet. She doesn't really want to just turn them loose and hope they find their way back home. Does anybody know what time the drop off opens at IACC or do you know of any other numbers to call? Thanks.
