Tall dog/short dog-not so good

Sweet Tart North on Behavior - Sun, August 10 2008

Hmmph, we have that really tall Scamper hanging around here and he always wants to play with me. He doesn't really bother anybody else but he's always bugging me. I have things to do like shopping and pedicures and he just wants to slobber and play. The other day, he grabbed my neck in his mouth and just stood there drooling on me. Mom yelled at him and he let me go but what the heck was he thinking? I do go in his doggy condo and sleep in it when he's not in it just to make him mad. So today we go out back to go potty before our excursion. I was running across the pen when all of a sudden, it was raining on me. Mom started freaking out but I wasn't sure why. Then I realized why. That darn giant dog was peeing and I had run right under him while he was doing it. I had a zigzag stripe of pee down my back. Mom said I was NOT going in the house looking like that so dad got an inspiration. He took me and held me under the outside water faucet to rinse the pee off. Yipes! It was so cold and right there in plain view on anyone traveling on 52nd street. What was he thinking!?!?!!? Then I had to stay outside until I dried. Cocoa also got her head peed on but she just got wiped off with a wet towel. Maybe they were afraid to stick her old bones under cold water or something. So I think tall dogs and short dogs are not a good combo. I think we should have a maximum height restriction in our house from now and on and Skanker does NOT meet that. YUCK!

Oh, I used to pee on Cousin Fernando whenever I got the chance. Let's just say I was paying him back for tearing up all of my toys.

you think a zig zag is bad, try a yellow stripe down a white dog. That's what my cousin Josh did to me once.

Sorry about the humility of a hose down in plain view of traffic. You think your Dad could have held a towel up or something for modesty, shesh.

We soooo need a spa day and get tofu body wraps, Sweetie. I can't say I've been peed on by the Tilly Monster, but I am sooo with you about the slobbering all over my pretty fur and stuff. I smell like Monster Mouth all the time now. Ewww.

No, he didn't even have the decency to use a hose with the warm water in it. He just picked me up and rinsed me off under the water spout like a tater or something!

I bet he wants to hook up with you! You are a popular BFF, and we all know BFFs are HOT. He probably peed on you to mark you as his. If that is the case, he needs some major help in the romance department! Girls do not like being peed on!!

I'm so sorry this happened to you!! Come on over and we'll have a hot oil treatment. Hoover has peed on me too and It's totally disgusting. Hoover and Kirby aren't even that tall, either.

These tall dogs around just better not pee on me....I'll have to bite 'em with my one good tooth....grrrrrr! However, lots of the taller doggies have peed on Rescue....hahahahahahahahaha...but he's soooooo..ummm, let's say challenged...yeah, that's it, challenged, that he sticks his head under them while they are peeing. Jeeez.
