Bunny....

Ariane on Lost Pets - Sat, August 09 2008

Patrick brought home a rabbit about a week ago. He was working and saw two dogs trying to eat it so he thought he needed to save it. So he showed up with this rabbit that we definitely do not need. We've cleaned him up and as much as my boyfriend would like to keep him, I don't think it's a good idea. I know Sharon from A Critters Chance and they are full. He is a really sweet rabbit and relatively small. He is white with brown eyes and tan speckles down his back and his ears are charcoal colored. We had him checked out and other than a punctured ear he is fine. He was a little dirty but we gave him a bath and he took it pretty well. He is very sweet and enjoys sitting in our garden and hanging in our spare room. We are attempting to litter train him and so far, so good. If anyone knows anyone that would like a rabbit and would be good to him, please let me know.

Mom would LOVE to have a rabbit, but it probably would fare worse here than at your house. I tend to look at bunnys as "toys". They always seem to break pretty quickly. Haven't figured that one out yet.

Strudel is all Dachshund and we ran him in ground trials on top of that so it won't last here. We tried to introduce him to it and he just stands still, shakes, licks his lips and doesn't blink. Mo gets so excited and I'm sure he'd kill it even if it was by accident. Mason and Vega don't care that much but I think if it ran they might chase.

I have found a few rabbit rescues but I feel bad because they are so full. I contacted them anyway and no one has gotten back to me. :(
