We did Bark Busters today

Zeek on My Blog - Fri, June 15 2007

Well, the lady from Bark Busters came today. Mom and I have LOTS of homework. I've already made improvements. Mom has to work on her vocabulary and consistancy and I have to learn to follow her lead and not the other way around. Mom thought she was clear enough. She's very glad that follow up visits are included because it was a lot at once. She felt kinda stupid playing follow the leader in the backyard and throwing chain bags and going "BAH!" all morning, but it's working. I've calmed down some and I waited well for someone (the trainer) to come in the door. I have a long way to go, but Mom is very impressed with the light at the end of the tunnel as she put it. You definitely have to work at it,though, 'cause now Mom has to show supreme rulership all the time and be careful not to undermine herself because I'll be watching for any little chance to slip back into my old habits!

My mom says to tell your mom good luck on the training!! She knows how hard it is to show supreme rulership with us bossy kids. Keep us updated on your progress!

We are glad it went well. What is really bad is when they act up in front of people and you are yelling BAH in that deep voice and throwing those chains and they are looking at mom like she is insane. Good luck and stay strong!!

We're both over our headaches from this morning. Mom did feel like a nutjob playing follow the leader in the backyard. Now she's freaking out because Debbie said no walks for five weeks (because I only poo on walks, so I have to learn to do it in my own yard-yuck!). No sitting on the furniture for five weeks, either. Mom says she'll be sitting on the floor a lot for a while. Now she feels like she's being mean to me when she goes "Bah!" and I get the shakes. I don't get it yet, but I need to quit shaking so Mom will quit worrying!
