Hi guys. I'm getting desparate for workers and thought maybe some of you needed a job or knew of someone that does. I run the gift shops for St Francis Hospital(BG and South campus). I have college students that are not going to be able to work during the week anymore and I need to hire people that can. The pay isn't great but it's easy retail. 85% of our customers are hospital employees so you do get to know your customers. We're open 8-8 during the week and 11-5 on the weekends. You only have to work every 3rd weekend(pretty sweet for retail). It is currently a non-benefit position but we are soon going to be run by the hospital rather than the foundation(long story but it's a good thing). As our retail is going to increase, I anticipate making these jobs at least permanent part time and therefore eligible for benefits. Experience isn't as important as availability. We have a very small staff so I need people that are able to work almost any shift(although schedules are made out well in advance so no surprises). Our register is a computer with a scanner(again, pretty easy to deal with). You do have to be able to stand for an 8 hour shift(you do get breaks of course). I have to contact HR because they seem to have pulled the listing AGAIN so I can't put the link up right now. It's so hard to find responsible people that don't need the benefits but can actually stand for long periods of time. If you're interested, PM me.
