Garage Sale for A Critter's Chance

Stacy on Activities - Mon, August 04 2008

I've recently started talking with and plan to volunteer for A Critter's Chance. If you're not familiar with them, they do wildlife rehabilitation (something I've wanted to do for years). You can learn more at their website.

We are having a garage sale on August 15th and 16th to raise funds for vet bills, formula, etc for the animals. If you have anything you would like to donate, I will make arrangements to pick it up. I'll let everyone know the exact location of the sale, when I get all the info. That way, if you want to stop by and shop you can!

I'll look around and see what I have. I usually do a spring cleaning and donate old clothes (I swear by the 2 year rule - if i haven't worn it in two years, its out), etc that I haven't worn to the Julian Center, but I'll do Critters Chance this year.

I'll look and see what else I've got around the house that I need to get rid of and let you know.

This is wonderful!!!! Mommy has some things in the garage that have just been in boxes because, she has not had time to bring them some place. Besides, most of the things are nice things like a complete chandelier. There are pictured, teddy bears, etc. I would be delighted to donate them to this good cause. The trunk of mommy's car is too small so, I would need someone to come and get this stuff. I live on the southside of Greenwood.

I would be happy to donate to their garage sale . Hopefully I can shop there, too :)I will ask my friends if they have anything they can donate, thanks for letting us know , a couple of ideas- alot of people have beanie babies they are willing to donate for a good cause and kids at garage sale love to buy them . If they can get a vet to donate microchipping time , maybe have the first part of the donation pay the actual cost of the chip and everything above that goes to the rescue . This is my favourite money raiser , you make money and help save a future lost pet-WIn Win!
