Saw the koalas!

We went to the zoo today to see the koalas, they are sooo cuuute!! Of course, they were sleeping but we could see their sweet faces. If it weren't for seeing them we never would have gone down on a Saturday during the middle of summer! It was packed! We were only there for an hour and we were ready to leave, good thing we have a membership!! It's one thing if you're fighting crowds at Disney World but when you're HOME and want to see something that is going to take 5 min. it's hard to justify it! They were worth seeing, though. With school starting soon and the koalas leaving Sept. 1st, it was now or never...

I think I'll adopt a koala. Anyone know of a good local breeder? *kidding*

we MUST get there to see them too but we're like you -- hard to justify the fight to see them thru the crowds in your own backyard. That's why we're a member too... so we don't feel bad to spend an hour or 5 minutes

St Francis had their employee picnic down there today so I'm sure that added to the congestion. I think there were over 4000 tickets sold for it.
