Enough fur to make 2 or more

Charlies. My under coat finally came out last night. Mom's been trying to brush it out, but it just wouldn't budge. I think I lost two pounds of white/cream colored fur last night, and it feels SO good. She used the curry brush, and got about 30 HUGE handfuls of fur, and left it out for any of the birds having second rounds of fur. Anyone want to make a sweater????

That sounds alot like me.I don't think I have that much but everytime mom vacuums, she sweeps up a Chihuahua each time. It's all my fur. 30 handfuls huh? That's alot!

I bet you feel sooooo much better Sheila! Right before I got groomed my dad brushed me and got 4 plastic grocery bags FULL of my white undercoat. I felt light as a feather afterwards!

When Dad brushes me, he always says he got enough fur for a whole other dog. Picks up the pile and says,"Look at my puppy." I don't really want a puppy around here. Why does he tease me so?

I know what you mean. I got groomed last week and mommy has been seeing these tufs of white hair sticking out. I am in for the full treatment tomorrow. You are very furry so, I am not surprised at the amount of undercoat your dad got off from you. We are getting ready to grow into a winter coat.
