Not fair

Lola on Behavior - Mon, July 28 2008

It's, like, 10:00 and Kirby, Hoover AND my sis are still SLEEPING! Mom put the gate up at the bottom of the stairs so I can't go wake them up. Mom and I have been up since 7:30!! I ate, chewed a chewie, played and now I'm whining becuase it's time for them to GET UP! Mom keeps telling me to be quiet. Well, at this point I'M ready for a nap,so I guess I WILL. I've put in a full morning and those lazies upstairs haven't even started yet.

Granted, I've had lots of mama time; snuggles, kisses, tummy scratches but now it's time to get down to business and play! Even the cats are up there. Somehow I will find out how to get around that gate and wake them up! I'd better go... I have some figuring to do.

I hate it when my mama wants me to be quiet....that's when I definitely don't wanna be. Go to the bottom of the stairs and woof "SQUIRREL" really really loud....maybe Hoovie will wake up.

Give a Poop Hollar -- that ought to shake the rafters!

My Daddy & kid sleep in WAY late too but me, Mom & Ojo are up at the crack of dawn everyday. Mornings are the best time to greet the world. We don't understand those late sleepers in our house. It's my OFFICIAL job to wake them up too (well, once the doors are opened).

It's my job to make sure mom doesn't sleep past 5 am, even on the weekends. If I think she has slept too long, I go and grab my nylabone or a toy and keep shoving it into mom's hand until she wakes up. Sometimes she doesn't appreciate my efforts though.....

5:00 am. That's pretty early Dude. Even I let mom sleep until just about 7:00 am. Maybe you should give your mom just a little more sleep?

Our dad boots us out the door to potty at 5am. We come lumbering back inside and go right back to bed. Lola then wakes mom up by 7:30am 'cause she's hungry.
