This weekend I got to go to Lake Shafer with mom and dad. At first it was alot of work. I was busy meeting a bunch of new people (family members)and one of their dogs. This dog did not like that she wasn't the dog of the house and she was always picking fights with me. At night I couldn't sleep. I was too busy making sure the other dog and people were going to leave my mom and dad alone. The next day we got a pontoon (spelling?) boat. That was alot of fun! I got my lil life jacket on and went aboard. The other dog went to but by that time we had learned to tolerate each other. We still didn't like each other though. While out on the boat I got in the water a couple times to go swimming. Most of the time I was standing against the door looking out on the water. Towards the end of the ride my night of no sleeping caught up with me, I was tired. I slept alittle on the boat. Once we got back to where we were staying mom and dad left me! They went to Indiana beach and left me with stangers and that stupid dog. I mainly just waited outside for their return which seemed to take forever. Shortly after they got back we packed up and went home. They said they couldn't take another night of us dogs and the other people bickering. Plus their air matress really wasn't that comfty. I was happy though. I really wanted to catch up on my sleep. I slept the entire 2hour trip home then went straight to bed once I got there. All-n-all it was fun and nice to see some new places and faces.
