Looking for Foster Home!

Hi everyone!

I am the Indiana contact for Afghan Hound Rescue. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to foster a black and tan, neutered male, goofy dog.

Ohio Afghan Rescue has some homes lined up for their hounds in rescue, but they are unsure who will get who. I will probably pick this Afghan up this weekend from W. Lafayette--if anyone is willing to foster him, we would be forever greatful.

I don't know much about him, other than that he is goofy and easygoing. Not sure how he is with other dogs or cats, but I'll find out soon. He is invisible fence trained as well--not sure if he'll jump conventional fencing. He's also good with children.

If anyone is interested, please contact me. I really can't foster him myself right now because I'm getting ready to get married and go on a long vacation.

I can't foster another Owen Wilson, but congratulations on your upcoming nuptials. Are the dogs going to be in the wedding?

Thanks! I feel bad, but I just can't foster him right now either. I really hope I can find a temp home for him.

Sorry but we are beyond full with the addition of Scamper last night and we can't do big dogs because of Officer Chase. Congrats on the wedding though! How are all the pups doing?

I wish I could help, but really can't at this time. I'm working on getting John used to the idea - he currently doesn't like it at ALL. I'd have to wait until we get Charlie's issues a bit under control, too. Congratulations on the wedding!

We have a possible adoption for this guy and definately a foster home lined up if that falls though--so I think we are good.

He is good with dogs I found out and has a playmate at home.
