Have you checked petfinder? I know there are are a few mastiff rescue groups around here. I've actually worked with two people at two separate offices that have rescued mastiffs in the Indy area.
I love mastiffs, they are so goofy/cute :)

I think Vega's mom work with Great Lakes Mastiff Rescue. I know I have heard people from IGPR talking about this group, but I don't know much about it. Here's their web address: http://www.glmr.org. You might want to check it out and maybe contact Vega's mom. You can go up to the corner of this page and enter the name Vega and it should get you to her and then her mom.
I'm kinda partial to mastiffs myself and have a friend that has 2 Frech Mastiffs. They are so stinkin' loveable!

Here's one for adoption near Terre Haute. I know that Rescue Farm pulls most (if not all) of their dogs from Indy Animal Care & Control, so there's a good chance that this is a rescued dog from there: http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=11494663.

I think I remember that Rigg's mom got him from Rescue farm - I'm sure she'd be glad to tell you about her experience with them.

Rescue Farm is awesome! Its out in the middle of NOOOO-WHERE but they are so nice. We filled out our app. for Riggs and within a day we had approval to come and meet him and pick him up. Its a married couple that runs it and they have dedicated their whole life to their rescue. LOVE IT!!!
