Rachael, call Brookville Road Animal Hospital, ask for Dr. Jennifer Hicks. Call them first thing in the morning, tell them everything that is going on, and the emergency about the vitamin K1, hopefully they can help. They have NEVER, EVER, let me down, Dr. Canada, OR Dr. Hicks. You might even think of applying for a job there, if you will be looking soon. Dr. Hicks used to do your exact job, way back when she was in school, LOL. She is an awesome vet, I don't think Dr. Canada could ever get anyone as good as her there. Call me, or stop by Sams Club tomorrow, if you wanna talk, I'll be there from 11am till 3ish, depending on the weather. :)

Well, there's bad news and good news today. The lady who works Saturdays found more vitamin K1, so Wiggles is set for three more weeks. It was right in the front of the cabinet, so I have no idea how anyone missed it.
The bad news is the company that gets outsourced blood work picked up everyone's but Wiggles' so he has to go in again Monday for a redraw. That means it'll take even longer for the results. Hopefully, the company gives us a discount or something, though, because they screwed up the whole thing.
Didn't something like that happen awhile back with Ojo or Roo? Can't remember if they got a discount. Glad they found more of the K1. Hope everything comes back OK.
Yes, it happened with Roo and her mama made it very well known that she was NOT happy that Roo had to be subjected to itching, more tests, etc because of their error.
I'll be doing the same when Wiggles goes back in on Monday. The company owes us an apology at the very least. Free blood work would be nice, however.
UPDATE: Wiggles goes in for his redraw tomorrow morning. IDEXX (the lab company) hasn't been able to get a hold of the courier yet, but I should be hearing from them sometime tomorrow, as well. Apparently, it's not the first time he's left blood work, so he better get reprimanded. Now that I've thought things over, I will be basically demanding that this lab work be done for free, because it's very important to his health and something that should not be taken lightly.
As for the clinic staff, I've expressed my concerns and moved on. I won't be working there much longer because of school, so I'm just going to tough out the next couple of weeks. Thanks for all of your support. I'm so glad you understand where I'm coming from.
