Squirrel update

Perl on Laws - Thu, July 17 2008

Okay, a squirrel has built a nest in a tree in our back yard. The female biped is worried about what we'll do to it, but any squirrel that builds a nest in our back yard is, quite frankly, one that should be removed from the gene pool for sheer stupidity.

However, this is happening when Sophie is less active than usual due to her heartworm treatment, I have a sore leg, and Beauregard, though game and trying nobly, is not used to working alone. This doesn't look good, people, although the male biped has been practicing with a bow and arrow and is teaching the small bipeds a song that goes "We're gonna have possum for dinnnner, we're gonna have possum for dinnnner" ad infinitum, if not ad nauseum.

May I come over and help little Beau, your majesty? I am a mighty leaper and shrieker, but I can stalk quietly if necessary. Stupid squirrel needs to be dealt with.

Those squirrels know exactly what they're doing. They tease us through the picture window when we're inside and we go crazy cause Mom won't let us out til it's gone. I hate squirrels in the yard!!!

Nearly had it this morning! Just a touch to slow on turn 5, though.

If someone can come get me, I'll help out. Sheila and I treed something at 1:00 am this morning (yup - had mom up 'cause I was too busy to finish my "business" when I should have). I'll be happy to help out Beauregard.

I'm coming over to help out. If I get a good running start, I can run half way up that tree. Well...that is what I do with the tree in my backyard.
