(I just want to state that Meg graduated with an English degree... need I say more?)
When I came from the Human Society I already had the name Dexter. Meg thought about changing it, but in the end she didn't because she thought it was just such a strange, unique name, and fit my personality very well. For instance, one part of the definition is "skillful with hands (or paws)" and that is right up my alley. I can figure all sorts of puzzles out! Doors. I get them. If I just stretch up and jiggle that round metal thingy, I can get it to open up! So far though, I haven't figured out locks or screen doors... I'm sure I could, but I just don't want to. I have better things to do with my time like rip open bags of cat food and sleep.
I love it when Meg brings home an unopened bag of cat food. The minute her back is turned, I attack! There is food in there and it is all MINE! Sometimes she brings home bags for the spaz Charlie to eat. She tells me it is dog food and not for me, but I don't care. I chew a big hole in the side and eat it anyway. It is good to be the cat.
