Boy oh boy what a weekend. we almost didnt get to go to the carnival like mom promised, cause Lana the little one came to visit the whole day. mom said to her mommy that we had made plans but would love to take her. so we went to go get our new friend Lucy *shes a rescue and boy did she need it* and her mommy, and then off to the carnival we went. Lana was in her stroller the whole time, and me and lucy were sniffing around....ALOT. we didnt get there until around 12:30 or one and it was very hot out. we were allowed to get in the pool but i just stood there. basking in the sunlight. and cooling off. mom gave lucy and i some water and dumped the rest on top of us. that worked for us. No hot dogs though and we wernt allowed popcorn, but we did get to see a really neat english mastiff that mamas dad would love to have seen. we also were able to get a glimpse of jersey joe but there were so many people around we figured he was busy. mom saw a cute little black pug that she thought was adorable, i thought so to i did some sniffing.

We decided to go inside and see what the happs were. we saw the petlane booth but couldnt say hello, so many people and us pups were getting walked on, that and mom didnt look so good, they said she was whiter than normal. Ww had to get mommy something to eat and drink she was so hot. Mama was having a good day after that until some nice lady asked if me and lucy were jackies. we said i was of course, but we are not sure what lucy was just yet anyway. she had a nice bassett hound that was well behaved i was to and so was mom until the nice lady said jackies were the dumbest dogs on the planet. mom had to ask her friend amanda if that lady just said that infront of me. boy was she red in the face. mom took Little Lana Banana for a stroll and just turned her back. she said that bassett hounds were smarter, now i know some houndies and mom grew up with them and though they are smarter and longer and probably smellier than me she said she thought we were all very bright and told me not to even listen to people with negative comments.
i didnt get to meet any ip buddies and i sure wish we could have gone earlier and stayed later and not been so worried about the Lana Banana but we had a fun time all in all and we are all glad we went!
