Jasmine back on kryptonite power

Baby on Behavior - Sun, July 13 2008

Jasmine was taking previcox. Getting around really great, but such a mean grouch. Growling and being the boss and trying to run the house. Then, she was on coated aspirin, trouble getting up, being stiff, quiet and nice and evidently experiencing some pain. So Mom was confused and the vet said to use the previcox after a long discussion. Vet said Jasmine's "grouchiness" was cause she felt good. Less pain made her feel better, like she was the boss, wanting to be in charge. Mom never thought of it like that but it does make sense. Looks like we'll have to just deal with the issues of her "feeling good".

I guess the comfort is knowing the reasoning behind the sudden change in behavior. It doesn't make it any easier to manage. And if we've learned nothing else during our experiences, management is key
