Thanks IVEC patrons!!!

I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all the folks who came out to the IVEC pet carnival, and donated money. Normally, at these events, we take donations for our own group, but this time, we were taking donations for IMPD officer, Jason A. Fishburn, who was shot in the head in the line of duty. I am very pleased to say that we brought in $260.00, and this money will be donated to him and his family on Monday. Please continue to keep him and his family in your prayers, for his recovery. You know, sometimes we can be such complainers about the littlest things....then something like this happens....it kinda gives you a reality check. That young man put his life on the line, for his community. I was very happy that we got what we did in donations, but not surprised, as I told my fellow unit members that animal people seem to be the most giving, of anyone, so I knew everyone would come through. Thank you!! :)
