This is my brain...on Bassets.

OK--so I'm addicted to the velvet ears of Bassets. The way they flop about, the way they just arrange themselves in ripples when at rest, the way they feel like warm silky velvet.

This is for all you Basset lovers out there. Not that you need anymore reasons to fall in love with those wonderful velvety ears and those super hound doggy faces.

Regarding Basset ears...yes, they are pretty silky smooth. My two always end up sleeping with an ear over their face. Pretty cute!

I looove velvety ears and big fat muffin paws! I got my Basset fix today. Maggie was sniffing inside Lucy's ears today...guess she was getting her fix, too.

I would NEVER get anything done with the big floppies on a Basset . My pointer pups have pretty addictive ears ,too at least they are a bit smaller ! I like to pull them up on Heidi and make them into a bow or pull up Gretchie's so she looks like a weird rabbit doggies are wonderful(though I love a soft kitty ,too.. or a softie cockatiel ...)

Carolina has tiny ears, but they're super soft.

Okay, first love the website. It's right up my alley especially the cows in the yard. But the basset, oh my..I too remembered while I fell in love with my knuckle head. I used to (and still do)play with his ears while he sleeps. Thanks!!
