Ultra Oil - 2 paws up!

CatHerder on Shopping - Fri, July 11 2008

Have to say, I was skeptical about the claims... but after just two days of use, the chewing of Spokes' fur has all but disappeared! She seems to feel so much better now.

Spokes does have some allergies for which she gets cortisone shots on occasion when they're really acting up, but the effect hasn't been as good recently as it was in the past. She still seemed a bit itchy.

So I bought a bottle of it and have been putting several drops on her food at each meal and it really seems to be helping her. She's not chewing on her paws and legs constantly and the 'hot spots' seem to finally be fading.

YAY!

I've been curious about ultra oil. My cousin Alex has a indoor cat with allergies so bad the poor guy is almost bald. Her vet hasn't been able to pin point the exact allergen yet. Alex has Rusty on advantage, feeds him organic/holistic food and gives him filtered water. I mentioned ultra oil to her and she'd never heard of it before. After reading this post I figure it can't hurt the poor guy. I'll have to pick up a bottle and ship it to her.

It's great stuff! I've been using it for my animals for over a year, and have seen great improvements. I'm still going to continue to use it, too, on the raw diet.

Sounds like my Spokes! She's had two flare-ups when I had a foster(s) with fleas (tiny kittens too young for Advantage). Even with year-round Advantage, distilled water, special food... she's still having issues. Figured something that may help soothe her skin itches couldn't hurt!

You know.. I never thought about it helping allergies. Hoover hasn't had a bad reaction to ragweed in over a year! It could be because they get Ultra Oil every day. I put it on the dogs' and cats' food! Their fur is amazing, too.

I need this! My older cat has a leg she has licked bald. She also gets cortisone shots. Please tell me where to buy it and where it would be...like pet med area, etc.. Thanks! I am so excited to give this a try!

I've seen it at pet supplies plus in BR and at For the Love of Dogs in Irvington.
