Spay day is a go

Ma and Pa took me up to FACE yesterday. Ma told them how long I was in heat (which I stopped bleeding on the 2nd of July) and they wanted to check me out and make sure I wasn't having a false pregnancy or anything.

We got there and they called us back. The nice vet lady came in and said "so, she's been bleeding for six weeks?" Ma said "uh, no only about three and a half weeks." Then the vet lady said "but she's still bleeding, right?" And Ma said "no." Then the vet lady said "then, why are you here?" I guess there was some miscommunication cause they were under the impression that I had been bleeding for six weeks and was still bleeding. Not true.

Anyway, my spay day is set in stone now! It's tomorrow! Ma will take me up there bright and early. They said that we would be able to bypass the check-in since we were just there yesterday. I'm also getting my vacs and HWT and HW and flea preventative. Ma already started me on HWP cause Penelope had some that she had grown out of.

I think Sweetie and Penny's spay day is on the 9th. I'll tell the nice people at FACE that my buddies are coming in the next day and to treat them right! I know they do anyway. :) Ma took O.C. up there for his FIV test and the lady was so nice and very informative when the test came back positive. She said she had an FIV pos. cat too. She made Mama feel better about the situation.

Good luck, Olivia! You're right...I'm going on Wednesday to be spayed. I'm okay about it, but FM's kind of nervous. She doesn't want anything to happen to me. I keep telling her it'll be okay.

Hi Livi xoxo You will do just fine - I did! I slept quite a bit the first day but my second day back at my breeder mom's I was up and at 'em! I feel good now and I'm ready to go to my forever home with my new BFF sister FiFi!! xoxo Good luck to all of you!!

Good luck on spay day, Olivia! It's better to be spayed than have puppies!! It won't hurt too bad, but play it up for some extra lovins!! ;)

Plus I met Pam's (from Wags) mom at FACE, she is way cool. She was getting on some guy that brought his dog in with a huge metal chain and padlock. She told him it was illegal to chain her up outside and that he could be fined $500. Loved her.

I wish you couldn't get sued for kicking someone like that in the A**.
