Raining, can't go out.

Hoover on My Blog - Thu, July 03 2008

This rain stinks. My whole morning routine is off! I come downstairs for breakfast then head to the door for somone to let me out. Well, I've been standing at the stinkin' door and mom said, "Not now Hoovie, it's raining". Well, NOW what am I supposed to do? I need to get my morning sniff and run in.

By the way, I saw the "monster" that lives under our deck. It's a chipmunk. Ya! I know! Stupid thing will be my snack on of these days. I'm not scared of it anymore. I'm past that and on to the mad phase.

Well, since I can't go out, I suppose I will have to take a nap or chew a hoofie or something. This being lazy thing is not for me. Kirby and Lola are just as happy as can be but I need something to do. Mom left her knitting out maybe I'll pick that up. I'l let you know how that turns out. Lata'!

Hoover, dude, just take this rainy day and enjoy it. Chew on the chewie, stir up some trouble inside, take a nap, watch a little TV. It's all good.

You don't get to go out when it's raining??? That's so mean! Mom lets us out and I take advantage of every moment to follow my secret path right along the house bricks, under the hostas and all those other big leafy plants, through the ornamental grasses, past the hydrangeas and up through the big garden across the front of the house. The only things that gets wet are my feeties. Trekkie, even though she is a girl and should worry about her hair, loves to stand out in the rain. Definitely not a diva, this dog!

Could you send Trekkie over to teach Penny to enjoy the rain. She won't go out unless I take her on the leash!!

I'm allowed to go out but not just for playtime. I'm not allowed to go out and just sit out there in the rain...I don't know why.

Me neither, Hoover. I don't get it -- humans stand in the shower all the time. This is just nature's shower. You'd think they'd be happy we are willing to take a shower. shesh...
