Know someone thinking of breeding?

I saw this wonderful suggestion on Dogster this morning. If you talk to someone who is thinking about breeding their dog "just once, for the experience", to "let their kids witness the miracle of birth", "because puppies are so cute & fun" or other reasons like that, suggest that they foster a pregnant shelter dog!

That IS a good suggestion and there are also videos on child birth available for children to watch.

Ask if they'd like their kids to be bred. Really, should people like that be breeding children in the first place? I'm not endorsing eugenics; I'm just sayin' ...
