By the way, Penny's doing really well. No inside potty accidents all week and I've been working with her aggression issues when the doorbell rings and visitors come over. Keep your paws crossed that tomorrow's outings go well. She's much more stabilized now and seems to trust me almost completely.

Hope you feel better soon, Penny. I remember when my buddy Sache had ear infections all the time -- she had bad cocker ears with lots of folds & stuff. not fun.

Mom's first dog, back before she got dad, was a cocker and she had several ear infections. One of things she had to do (after the infection was under control) was wipe the floppies out with rubbing alcohol to keep them dry inside. Those floppies hold in lots of moisture and don't dry out easily. Good luck and don't forget to tell your mom to put a cookie in her pocket for a good girl treat after seeing the vet!

My mom is always picking at my ears. She said it's been a long time since she had her beagle with floppy ears and she forgot how much attention they need. My mom loves ears, though so it's fun for her....
