Note to my dogs

Nancy on My Blog - Fri, June 27 2008

Dear Yogi and Teddy,
It is summer. Mama doesn't have to get up at 6:00 a.m. like she does during the school year, which means you guys don't have to get up at 6:30 a.m. either. Please keep that in mind, Dudes.

Love,
Mama

P.S. It is soooooo not fair that you get up at 6:30 a.m., and then go back to bed after you have had your little morning snack and done your business.

Dear Yogi and Teddy, if you could forward this to Stormy I'd appreciate it. He loves to give morning kisses to anyone in a reclining position. He also wants to greet the sun.

That's hilarious! I was about ready to lock Deuce, Francie and Penny up this morning because they were up at 5:45, jumping all over the bed, licking me, playing with each other....UGH!!!!

I was just wondering how to post something about Lola waking up every day at 8am on the DOT. She does not need to go out, Keith lets the dogs out before he goes to work. She thinks it's time to eat breakfast and there will be no leeway on her part.

I got up, fed her and the boys, they played tag for a bit and now they're all asleep again! With my daughter!!! Wrong, wrong, wrong.

At least she's not up at 6am....

6am would be nice -- it's 5am in the Jackie house (Ojo even stirs about 4:45 but gets silenced for 15min longer). Husband could sleep thru a tornado so he NEVER hears them but they always get me up and then, like others, right back to snuggle up in the blankets. when I come back, I want a pampered dog life like these.

Ditto here. My girls get me up at 6AM or before, no matter what day of the week it is. They go out, eat breakfast, play, and then by the time I'm ready to go to work, they're asleep. I want a dogs life!!!!

Yogi, darling, I understand your need. But I need my beauty sleep, just like Mommy, so I stay in bed with her until she starts to wake up and stretch, move around a bit. That's when I ATTACK!! Let's go Mom, we've had enough beauty sleep!!!! haha xoxox

Hey, boys, I'm right there with Mom and FiFi. As the Queen Mum around here, I am generally lazy and expect to be treated as royalty, so I do not wake up until Mom wakes up, or if someone knocks on the door, at which point I turn in to Queen Noisy and wake up the whole neighborhood. Oops - I digress. I stay in bed, sometimes, even just to make Mom carry me to the yard. Because, after all, Queens never walk anywhere. (I saw that in Kingdom of Heaven). xoxoxo Love you all royally, Little CeeCee

I'm only allowed to sleep in on Sundays (cause they're tired from all the running around on Saturday). Other than that, we're up no lateer than 6:00am. Someone at work complained that they just couldn't get moving in the morning. I suggested that she get a puppy. She'll never sleep in again!

LOL wow that is so true! I am lucky with my cats to get 6:30. It's really bad on the days I do get an extra hour.
