Yeah, his Grammy suggested that too. I'm going to take him on a short walk around the block when he wakes up. That usually makes him have to go. I might give him some pumpkin later tonight. If he isn't feeling better tomorrow then the doctor said we should schedule something. Until then I'm supposed to write down everything and call him if anything causes concern.
Do you feed them all the same thing? Maybe you got a bad bag of food... does it smell weird?
Yeah, did you feed them any people food? I know grapes can make me real sick! See if you've given them or if they've sneaked any of these things: http://www.findoutaboutdogs.com/Human_Foods_That_Will_Make_Your_Dog_Sick_as_a_Dog.html
They also aren't allowed to have certain kinds of nuts.
Well, I can't be for sure what is wrong with him, but he should probably see a vet if he is not eating, vomiting and not pooping. Not to scare you, but our neighbor's dog (English bulldog) had symptoms kind of like that and it turned out he had pneumonia! I didn't even know us pups could get that! So you definitely get him checked ASAP.
They haven't really had anything new. I started them on coconut oil about a week ago but I skipped it the last three days. You are supposed to refrigerate it after you open it so I did and then it was a big cylinder and I didn't want to mess with it. Other than that I can only think of them playing at my brothers house in his back yard. But they have done that before. They are eating normal feedings, different kinds of cookies but they are all fresh. He pooped today and it was a little small but normal. He hasn't puked except once and is a lot more relaxed. But he is normal drinking and peeing. He felt good enough to act like a tough guy to Reggie, the neighbors shepherd. Vega, however is acting completely normal and she ate some grass and then puked it up about an hour ago. I think we are going to take them in tomorrow anyway. The vet told me to call first to give an update. Cosmo and Mason are acting completely normal. If anything Mason was acting better than ever.
I work at the daycare and no one else is sick. Everybody is up to date as well. We haven't had any new dogs either. My coworkers dog puked a few times yesterday but it's not uncommon for her to. Vega puked a few more times last night and was acting completely fine. Today they acted a little tired but that could have been lack of food. This morning he pooped and it was a little runny but not horrible. No one has puked as of now. Strudel had a small bit of rice this morning and then some more for lunch. Vega just had a cup of rice and was trying to push Mo and Mason out of their bowls. We will probably go in tomorrow morning. Strudel isn't drinking that much but he isn't a big drinker. He did take a nap in the office at work for about 30 minutes but he came back into the hallway and wanted in.
Okay, today Strudel went to the vet and they ran blood work and did x rays. The doctor thinks that he hurt his back and that made him feel crappy. I don't know what to think. They gave him a shot for the pain and some more meds for pain and his stomach. Other than his stomach being a little irritated they said was healthy. She couldn't say much about Vega. She is back to normal completely. The last time he was sick she puked once too so maybe she just had a sympathy puke. I don't know! Either way we are doing exactly what the doc said. He is supposed to take it easy which is what we are going to do. Once he got home he was acting a lot better and wanted to sit outside. I'm going to talk to Mary Marshall and then also make an appointment for his back to be realigned and then acupressure or acupuncture or something! I think I am going to start giving his a supplement for his back. He is feeling better though. I just worry about him. He is so tiny.
