Hi Olivia! It sounds like you're having fun with JR. Tell him that me, Deuce and Francie Pants say hi.
I read in another post that you're getting fixed in a few weeks too. I'm getting fixed on the 9th. Do you or your momma know what my foster mom should expect after my procedure? Mom's kinda worried. I keep telling her it'll be fine, but she's still kinda worried.
We *almost* had the same spay day! FACE called Mama yesterday and asked if it was okay to reschedule it for the 8th. So that's my new spay day. Penelope did good after her spay, she didn't lick the incision or anything. She took pain meds for two days. The hardest part was keeping her from playing and jumping. You will do fine, Penny. You'll get tons of extra lovins and treats! Milk it girl, milk it.
Ma said the hardest part for her was the day of the spay and waiting to go pick up PNell. She was worried, too. She just wanted her baby back! :)
Dreya, did you keep Pnell in a crate or anything? Did she have to wear the party hat? I just want to be as prepared as possible. Was she okay to go outside to do her bodily functions?
I didn't keep her in a crate. It was eaiser then because we didn't have Charlie yet. So there were no other dogs to get her riled up. (That will be different with Olivia.) She didn't have a party hat either. She had no prob doing her thing in the yard. :) I think it would be a good idea to crate Penny if you're gone or if she is wanting to start playing. Just to be safe. I'm sure that's what we will end up doing with Olivia.
She just learned how to play with Deuce and Francie and it's hilarious and sweet all at the same time. I'm sure I'll have to keep her crated to keep those two away from her. "Humping Penny" is Francie's favorite game at the moment!!!
That is funny! Olivia seems to be the humper now that Dorothy is gone, but she only tries to hump Charlie. I think Penelope is jealous. Hehe!
