WTG Sammy! I know it may seem like you are wasting away, but I'll bet that you'll be feeling a lot more spunky with that extra weight gone! My aunt's dog Kody is SOOOO overweight I feel sorry for her sometimes...she used to have quite the girlie figure but because my aunt feeds her so many table scraps, she has gained a lot of weight.
Kudos to you Skinny Minny! ;)
Summer xoxoxo
Exercise is much easier now that I weigh less. My aunt's doxies (may they RIP) both had bellies that drug the ground. My mom swore she wouldn't let me get that big.
Your Mom is wise for watching your wieght. It is much easier to loose afew pounds than a whole bunch of them. Being obese takes years off your life. You look really good. I always feel sorry for over wieght pets. It is not thier fault but the owners trying to spoil them. Mommy watches my wieght too. I have wieghed 18lbs. for years.
I know it's good for me, but I hate that I don't get to eat my old fattening food and I only get a small treat when mommy leaves the house. But in the end, if it keeps me here with here longer it will definately be worth it.
We corgi people have to watch our weight, too, because of our long backs and short legs. Mom has me on a diet (yuck) and is busy working on peeling 5 pounds off of my sleek self. She's cut my kibble to a half portion each meal (2) and gives me 1 rounded tbs of canned pumpkin on top. Mmmmm good. I also like shredded zucchini. I'm getting my veggies and some carbs, but not all the grain that regular pup treats and some kibbles have. I go for my check up on Friday and will get weighed in; hopefully the scale will be happier this time. Keep up the good work, Sammy!!
