Dog Day Afternoon Report

Its not fair, not fair at all. Sheila and mom come home smelling like all these people and dogs, and I didn't get to GO! Mom also gave away MY pocket-full of treats to Rocko. What's a guy to do???

what was I, Sheila? Chopped liver? Well, it's understandable since I was on Mom's shoulder when I met you and not on the wet street. I'm glad you got to enjoy the day (after the storm)

You got to meet me, too!!! My hooman sis was with me, she may have been holding me, I don't know. It was great to meet you and your mom. Too bad we got all wet!

I remembered to add Ojo and her mom after my initial post. I'm very sorry I missed Lola. I was a bit stressed out. Ojo, you must have been posting while I was fixing!

We left when it started raining, so we must have missed everyone. We did get to see Mama Muttblood though! She let me stand by her booth to catch my breath and take a break from the crowd. I was pretty nervous! I tried to get mom to carry me several times, but she said I was doing fine. Well, when it started raining, I had had enough!! I freaked and pulled against my harness. Mom carried me back to the car while dad held an umbrella over us. Mom said I did very well, and I got some treats too!!

Boy, do I know the feeling!! See Beverly's post all about how she got to go! Well, poor Minnie was home alone in her crate! I didn't even get to take a walk this afternoon because of the rain. I guess I shouldn't complain though because mom and I snuggled up for a nap, and then we played ball together. I got treats too!

Oh how I wanted to meet all of you! I was looking for you and didnt see anyone!

Oh I wish I could have seen you all.....but Mom didn't go because she thought it was going to pour down rain! It didnt though! Although her and Dad left with these really long poles and came back kind of wet....so maybe it did! I was left at home all day and now Mom is mad because I am SUPER playful...(see her post entitled "UGH!" ) now I am being forced to lay down and watch her read a book while drinking this awful looking green drink....I am sucking up to her though...so maybe next time I will be able to go to a fun event like this!

We were pretty hard to miss. Four Dachshunds and two ginormous humans wearing Dachshund t shirts(Dachsaholic and wiener dad shirts). Maybe you had left before we got there or dad was sitting down with us so you only saw us one at a time. Sorry we missed you.
