We have camped in the Shades state park and hiked at Turkey Run state park. Eagle Creek lets dogs into the park, and there's a bark park, too. If you plan to go to the bark park, though, be prepared to leave a $75 deposit plus the $5 entrance fee (and of course bring shot records).
There are some dog-friendly businesses in Broad Ripple including Rusted Moon Outfitters & Three Dog Bakery. Several places have water bowls outside, and I've seen a few, for lack of a better word, dog hitches.
I think all state parks allow dogs. At least I have yet to encounter one that did not. I take Batman to lots and lots of parks, both city and state parks. I also LOVE the Monon trail. It is very dog friendly with poop bag stations, dog watering fountains, etc. I know some TSC stores allow dogs, but don't know if it is a company policy or not.
You need to look up Godzilla because he knows a lot of restuarants that allow dogs on the patio. I work for National City Bank and we looooove the dogs at our branch. We cant let them come in...unless they were a small breed someone had in a carrier or they were holding it. We give out treats too. I also know the owners of Georges Neighborhood Grill off of Binford Blvd. in between 71st and Graham Rd. They do not mind dogs on the patio. If you enojy fishing Pine Lakes fishing grounds in Pendleton allows dogs on leashes....we put Ralph on a tie out. They dont allow certain breeds and no mixed breeds.....but they did not know Ralph is most likely mixed. He looks mostly American Bulldog so thats what he was that day...hehe.
