Any Good Terrier Rescues Around?

Chuck and Sandy on Grief - Wed, June 18 2008

As I mentioned yesterday, I have to separate my two dogs Max and Emma. Now I am not certain I will be able to keep Emma at the price I have to pay for her to live with me.

Anyone know of a good terrier rescue group? I may have to give one or both of my dogs away.

Does it have to be a terrier rescue? There are good rescues out there who might be able to help you. People on here have connections to ARPO and Wags to Strays. Maybe they can help you?

Depends on what type of terriers.

From their pics, it appears they're a Yorkie and a Schnauzer.

If it's a Yorkie, you can contact www.petitepaws.org. We can't take in Schnauzers but will take in any Yorkie into the rescue. My mom is a foster mom for them and my sister Jenny was adopted through them.

We could help you with your dogs. We do thorough home checks, reference checks(including vet and housing refs). Is there any way you can move somewhere else that will allow you to keep them? Maybe you could find a short term foster until you could move into pet friendly housing. We might be able to help with the fostering as well. Just PM me if you have any questions or need more info.

ARPO has had Schnauzers in the past.
