I'm sorry you had to deal with this!! We had to have it done too, and it was very loud when they made that trench. I didn't like it one bit! Mom says no more houses with a basement. I'm glad your AC works. Last night, it got cool in here and Beverly and I were sacked out! It felt so good to be cool! Mom took a pic of me on the couch all stretched out, snoozing. It cracked her up.

I really feel bad for you. We don't have a basement so I will never experience your pain. I sure hope things get better for you. My daughter and her husband get a lot of water under their house after heavy rain storms. Enough with all of this rain.

Basements are scary. We lived in a house that had a basement and I NEVER went down there. We lived there for 18 months, too. No basement now! Hopefully your stink will go away soon and you can put the air back on. It's too hot not to!

We lived in a house w/ a basement for two years. I went down one time, got into something (hehe...that always happens) and came back up covered in cobwebs...no more basements for me! Our new house doesn't have one.

My poor girl...you can come stay with me if you like. We have AC and lots of shade trees. Mama's on vacation next week. We can have her drive us around in the convertible.

I love our basement! It's nice and cool down there. And for some reason, I like to poop down there. Mom, however, doesn't like it when I do that. She's gotta get the carpet cleaned!
