We just mailed Dad his today. He lives out of state right now, and even thought I was adopted out of wedlock, he still calls himself Dad, which Mom thinks is so sweet. We had a rough go of it when he was here Memorial Day weekend. I nipped him twice, but Mom says the first one doesn't count since I had a bone in my mouth and he went to pet me. I couldn't help it, I thought the big guy was going for my BONE! Anyway, we mailed him a book called "The Jack Russell Handbook" so he can learn how to better understand me, like how he really needs to quit trying to stare me down since I'm not gonna give any. I don't care if he is 6'7" tall! We also sent him a card from me that has the top 10 ways we're alike (Mom's favorite was #4 He likes to fix things-I'm a fixed thing) that Mom just happened to see at JoAnn Fabrics while looking for stuff to work on my scrapbook. We hope he likes it and gets a big laugh!
Peace,
Zeek :P
Hi Floyd, Skippy just got part of our fathers day gift tonight. Mom let us pick out a really cool shirt for him. He also wants the new Brad Paisley cd, but it doesn't come out till Tuesday, so we're going to cut out a picture of it(with Moms help) and tape it to the card with the money to buy it on Tuesday!! Mom won't let us have scissors by ourselves. She's like that. ByE
Those are all great gift ideas. You guys are some creative Pups! I really like the "Dogfather" T-shirt. My daddy just got his wisdom teeth pulled out yesterday (I really hope he still remembers to feed me and let me outside), so I don't think that I can give him kibble as a gift. I think a toy for both of us to play with would be a great idea. Thanks for all of your help!!
You guys Rock!
