A reprieve-I get to stay longer

Ha ha just when mom thought it was time to post me on Petfinder, I tricked her. I began my womanly time of the half year(if you get my drift). Then they made an appointment for me to get "fixed" at FACE for this Thursday. I'm not sure what they were going to fix about me but I'm pretty happy the way I am. I think my nose is a little too big so maybe they were going to take a little off that. Anyways, I'm still in heat. So dad called FACE and they said I have to be out of heat for at least 2-3 weeks before I can be fixed. Then I will have to take a few weeks to recover so I've just scored at least a month's extension! Lucky for me. Mom had even bought me a new collar and leash for when I left. Maybe she'll let me use it anyway. It's pretty cute and they were 1/2 off at Wipe Your Pawz. So your favorite small chocolate foster Dachshund will be around at least through the 4th of July!!!!
