Found Beagle/Speedway- Needs Help

Hey gang-- My cousin emailed me this morning regarding a Beagle that was found in Speedway. He works with a lady on the Speedway Town Council. It's my understanding the beagle was found and they have been holding him @ the road dept in Speedway waiting for someone to claim him for 6 days. She said he's very calm and quiet about 15 lbs and about 2 yrs old. She's worried if he goes to IACC, he won't be held because he's been at Speedway for a week. If anyone is missing a dog or knows how we can help this guy out, email Lu at LHILLMER@indygov.org.

I would contact the rescues before IACC. Maybe someone there has room. You never know.

If he is a full-blooded beagle, maybe someone can pretend to be his owner, take him to HSI, go through counseling and then they can take him and charge a lot for him, but at least he will be safe.
