Rescue/Foster Blog

Anne on Breeds - Fri, May 30 2008

So, I think the site ate my first post....The daycare that we take our dog also fosters some dogs. They've started a blog to get the word out on the dogs they have available for adoption and I thought I'd post it here so people would be aware of it.

That is the coolest way to profile adoptable dogs!!! I love the profiles. I wish I could take the matiff home, but so far I haven't won the lottery!

That's so cool! I think Mayter is way too cute! The Mastiff is handsome too! Monica has a profile on here for the adoptable dogs at Wags (http://www.indypaws.com/profile/6133) and I made one too! (http://www.indypaws.com/profile/13978)

I thought it was really great too. I really respect what she does for these dogs. I know she's involved in transport as well and just tries to do what she can. There have been times I've picked Nigel up and been SOO tempted to take one of the fosters home. For a while they had the SWEETEST petite little pit bull who was so affectionate (I'm sure she got adopted) If we had a big enough yard/house, I would've scooped her up in a second.

I just think all the profiles/blogs are such a great way to get the information out on each dog.

I love that Mastiff, too! He's gorgeous, and I've got a soft spot for the big, goofy ones. Too bad our house is full, or that one would be on his way home.

oh come on, there's always room for another, 100 + lb dog, isn't there? :)

at my old job, there was a person who had just adopted a 2 year old mastiff and brought him in to work. he was the biggest, goofiest, most gentle dog i've ever met.

Great pups! I hope they all find homes, and the cool blog will help. It is amazing how many dogs need homes.

Did she find a home for the mastiff?
