No-Kill shelters

Leopold & Teri on Activities - Wed, May 28 2008

We all seem to be thinking the same things today.
Check out the mission and purpose of this shelter and tell me why they all can't operate like this!

Teri, I think about this practically all day every day. I take small breaks to attend to my actual job so I can make money to support these kind of causes. I don't care right now if they all operate like this, we just need to start with operating one the right way. It is being done, it can be done.

I think about it everyday too. We just seem to be talking about it more today.

Did it say anywhere if it was an open-admission shelter? That's the part that's the problem with HSI, they don't kill animals once they take them in, but they don't take them all in. But, this was a GREAT website and they had one price for all dogs and one price for all cats. Plus, they did an AWESOME job writing little things about the animals to make them more appealing. That is exactly what Nathan Winograd said to do also about putting up the stories of the sad dogs and cats so people will donate to help them.
