Well....Andy was a Yorkie mix and couldn't walk very far with his short legs. Plus being all black, it didn't take him long to get over heated in the summertime. So...after Andy died and mom was ready for another dog, she wanted one with longer legs...so she got me!! We can walk forever. But...she didn't know that I am a squirrel crazy beagle.
Hmmmm, never thought about that. And you are right, it's not like she can pick me up and carry me....
I now have to walk past 2 pastures of COWS! Can you believe that?! They moved some of the baby COWS to a pasture closer to my house and those young ones LOVE to walk the fenceline with us. Mom laughs at me everytime we go past them because I jump everytime they moo at me.
Colton, are you telling me that you're afraid of cows? Dude, I thought you were invincible...unafraid of anything!! Well, I guess we're all afraid of something. I hate ironing boards.
Not necessarily afraid of them, just don't know what to think of them. I do growl and stand tall next to mom so that they know I am her protector, but I don't like it when they talk back to me.
Hey! Your mom's not trying to kill you, LOL. I've been doing the same thing with my mom and I LOVE it! We're doing about 3 miles everyday, too. But we don't get to see pastures or cows, you're so lucky. All I get to see are butts in spandex whizzing by on bikes and yelling "Passing on your left!" Mom tells me our goal is to be ready to enter the last corral of the Indy Mini Marathon next year, then she usually says HA! Dad says if the MiniMarathon were held inside of a mall then Mom would have not problems.
