Yesterday, mommy noticed this dove sitting on her nest. It is on top of the pole for the privacy fence. She can see it from the kitchen window. This mother is very faithful. When mommy got up at 5:15 am, she looked out and yes she was sitting on the nest. It was raining hard when mommy came home and yes she was sitting on the nest. Mommy has never seen her off the nest. It is among some climbing roses but, she has no protection. Mommy walked right by her five times yesterday and she did not move. She is a wonderful mother.
