Dog treats

Nancy on My Blog - Thu, May 15 2008

Well, making the dog treats with my group of 10 students (5 kindergartners) was a smashing success. We worked out the oven situation, and Amy (aka Mama Muttblood) lent me a bone shaped cookie cutter, as did another teacher. I had two groups making the recipe, and an awesome 5th grader led one group while I helped the other group. The kids had fun, and the treats turned out so cute!

Thanks to Ojo and Roo's mom also for sending me recipes (both bake and no bake).

Tomorrow's Friday! Woo Hoo!

Wahoo! Glad that everything went so well for you! Kudos! Hopefully your favorite fellows got mistakes & leftovers!

Sounds like you had a great success. If you ever need any taste testers I'm there for you. :)

You baked dog treats with your students? How come you didn't invite us IP dogs to come and taste test? I know I would have been glad to come. Francie Pants too. And, she could have flirted with Yogi man (gag--she made me type that).

Um, I don't mean to be rude, Yogi and Teddy's mom, but did you save us any since mom lent you her dog bone cookie cutter? It's a sad fact that she has not used it in many months. Hopefully yours, Sydney

Syd, nada, nothing, zippo was saved for anybody. Those kids took three a piece home to THEIR animals, but do you think mama saved any for us or any IP friends. Nope.

You guys have great faith in my mama's cooking skills. I doubt they were as good as ETB's mama's biscuits, plus, remember, kindergartners made them with mama's help. Hee Hee

Your mama needs a stern talking to, Teddy. She didn't even bring any home to her own boys????? Sinful.

Ding Dang, you know at least ONE of those kids is gonna eat those cookies before they get home. It's just a fact. Kids will eat anything. Animals!!! Pffffth. I'd hold a strike, Tedster and YogiMan.
